HOW IS THE THERAPY PERFORMED?
There are various types of treatments:

• • Major autohemoinfusion: about 150 cc of blood is drawn from a vein in the patient’s arm. The blood is collected in a certified bag. The needle remains in the patient’s arm, and in the meantime, a special device introduces a gas mixture of oxygen and ozone into the bag and mixes it with the drawn blood. The tourniquet is then removed from the patient’s arm, the bag is lifted, and the blood flows back into the patient’s body, enriched with ozone and all its beneficial effects.
• • Vaginal and rectal insufflations: the oxygen-ozone mixture is insufflated into the respective areas through small catheters. Ozone thus comes into direct contact with tissues affected by infections, inflammations, irritations, pain, or other discomforts.
